"New Retro" (2007)
Textile Design - final year project, working with Clotheshow Live 2007 in Birmingham.
The theme was "new retro", and my love for vintage inspired me to work with surface patterns.
The final design was printed on woolen fabric using a digital textile-jet, and then made into a skirt. Hand-felted flowers were stitched on to give the pattern a three dimensional feel. Accessories: custom made beret and badges.
